In the early summer of 2024, the CRUKING embarked on a historical journey to Luoyang, Henan Province, a city with a profound historical and cultural heritage. From May 30 to June 1, we experienced the unique charm of this ancient capital.
On our first day in Luoyang, we first arrive at the Luoyang Museum. This comprehensive history museum's newly launched exhibition of cultural relics is impressive. The exquisite bronze drinking vessel of the Xia Dynasty, the Bronze tripods of the Warring States Period, the vivid pottery sculptures of the Northern Wei Dynasty, and the gorgeous three-colored lanterns and three-colored horses of the Tang Dynasty. Each cultural relic carries the profound heritage of Luoyang and even Chinese culture. Immersed in the ocean of history, listening to the guide's narration, we have a deeper understanding and awe of the history and culture of this land.
As night fell, we went to the ancient city of Luoyi, known as the "Central Plains Ferry". Walking under the Wenfeng Pagoda and beside the Temple of Literature in Henan Province, we seem to have passed through thousands of years and are in an ancient and mysterious world. The ancient city's style and traces of history let us linger.
The
next day, we visited the White Horse Temple, which is known as the "first
ancient temple in China", to find the source of Chinese Buddhism. Ancient
temples, and solemn Buddha statues, let us feel the solemn and sacred religion.
Later, we visited Funiu Mountain Global Geopark, Laojun Mountain Scenic Area, and other places to feel the uncanny workmanship and magnificent scenery of
nature. The scenic spot made us amazed.
On
the last day, we went to the famous Longmen Grottoes. There are many caves and statues of different shapes, and each work is an artistic treasure. We were
deeply attracted by these exquisite stone carvings and marveled at the
extraordinary workmanship of the ancient craftsmen.
This trip to Luoyang not only gave us an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of the Central Plains, but also enhanced the understanding and cooperation between team members in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It will be the experience of a lifetime for us.
